About us

Four Decades of Experience

As a certified firearms instructor with credentials from the NRA, USCCA and Texas DPS, I offer a comprehensive range of courses including Basic Pistol Shooting, Texas License to Carry, concealed carry, home defense, and women and youth handgun safety. My mission is to provide safe, responsible, and proficient firearms education, empowering individuals with the confidence and skills needed for personal protection and responsible firearm ownership.

I have been an instructor in several different areas of concentration since 1978 teaching various types of courses spanning 40+ years. I have dedicated over 45 years to military and federal government service.  The skills that I acquired over my career fueled my passion for teaching and firearms training.  

From 1973 to 1995, I was trained as a Cryptologic Technician in the U.S. Navy and performed Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) operations aboard eight Shore-Based intelligence collection sites, four US Naval Surface Combatant ships, and two Fleet Reconnaissance Squadrons obtaining over 4000 flight hours and over 350 missions aboard EP-3 Long-Range Reconnaissance aircraft.

After retiring from the Navy in October 1995, I continued my commitment to service and education. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management and have taught Computer Networking Fundamentals courses at Pensacola State College as an adjunct faculty member.
